OUR COMMITMENT A&Y Sober and Independent Living is dedicated to providing a structured, supportive environment that promotes recovery, personal growth, and successful independent living. These guidelines are designed to ensure the safety, comfort, and success of all residents.

ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY
  • Minimum 72 hours clean/sober before entry
  • Valid government-issued ID and background check required
  • Initial drug screening and intake assessment
  • Emergency contact information
  • Proof of income or sustainable payment plan
  • Completion of all intake documentation
  • Approved medication-assisted treatment must be disclosed before admission
SOBRIETY & RECOVERY REQUIREMENTS
  • Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs on or off premises
  • Total abstinence from all mind-altering substances (including Spice, Kratom, and Bath Salts)
  • Random drug/alcohol testing (Refusal = immediate departure)
  • Mandatory weekly house meetings
  • Active participation in recovery programs (12-step, Celebrate Recovery, etc.)
  • Monthly progress meetings with staff
  • Confidential reporting system for relapse concerns
  • 24/7 staff support for crisis situations
SAFETY & SECURITY
  • Curfew: 10:00 PM (work accommodations available)
  • Quiet hours: 10 PM – 6 AM
  • Mandatory sign-in/out procedure
  • Random room inspections
  • No visitors on the property
  • Cooperation with law enforcement/supervision services
  • Emergency protocols and evacuation procedures
  • Security camera monitoring
  • Zero tolerance for weapons
  • Fire safety protocols
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • One-time — application fee

  • Payment methods: Money order or online (3% online service fee)
  • All fees non-refundable
  • Payment due by 10:00 PM on the scheduled date

COMMUNITY LIVING STANDARDS Property Maintenance:
  • Daily chore assignments
  • Personal space cleanliness
  • Shared space respect
  • Laundry facility guidelines
  • Maintenance request procedures
  • Kitchen usage and sanitation
Personal Conduct:
  • Respectful communication required
  • No aggressive/violent behavior
  • No intimate relationships between residents
  • No borrowing/lending between residents
  • Considerate neighbor relations
  • Use headphones for entertainment
Property Guidelines:
  • Limited personal items (no oversized furniture/appliances)
  • One registered vehicle per licensed resident
  • No vehicle maintenance on the property
  • Secure storage recommended for valuables
  • 30-day storage limit for abandoned items (— fee)
  • No pets permitted
TECHNOLOGY & AMENITIES
  • WIFI and entertainment services provided
  • Responsible usage required
  • Computer/internet access
  • Printing/faxing services available
  • Common area entertainment systems
  • Service interruption for misuse
HEALTH & WELLNESS
  • Personal hygiene standards
  • Secure medication storage
  • Communicable illness reporting
  • First aid procedures
  • Food storage guidelines
  • Smoking/vaping in designated outdoor areas only
SUPPORT SERVICES
  • 24/7 staff availability
  • Resource referrals for:

ACCOUNTABILITY SYSTEM Level 1 Violations (Written Warning):
  • Curfew violation
  • Missed meetings
  • Chore negligence
  • Noise complaints
Level 2 Violations (Privilege Restriction):
  • Repeated Level 1 violations
  • Disrespectful behavior
  • Late payments
  • Program non-compliance
Level 3 Violations (Immediate Discharge):
  • Substance use
  • Violence/threats
  • Theft
  • Major rule violations
GRADUATION & TRANSITION
  • Minimum length of stay requirements
  • Recovery program completion
  • Financial stability demonstration
  • Housing transition plan
  • Aftercare program enrollment
  • Alumni program participation
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
  • Weather emergency protocols
